　　Once upon a time there lived a lion in a forest.

　　森林里住着一头狮子。

　　One day after a heavy meal， it was sleeping under a tree.

　　有一天，狮子吃了一顿美餐之后就在树下休息。

　　After a while， there came a mouse and it started to play on the lion.

　　过了会儿，来了只老鼠，在狮子身上玩来玩去。

　　Suddenly the lion got up with anger and looked for those who disturbed its nice sleep.

　　突然，狮子醒了，生气地到处寻找是谁在打扰他睡觉。

　　Then it saw a small mouse standing trembling with fear.

　　他看到一只小老鼠，正害怕地发抖。

　　The lion jumped on it and started to kill it. The mouse begged the lion to forgive it. 狮子扑了上去想要吃掉小老鼠。

　　The lion felt pity and left it.

　　狮子觉得他可怜，松开爪子。

　　The mouse ran away.

　　放他走了。

　　On another day， the lion was caught in a net by a hunter.

　　又一天，狮子被猎人的网缠住了。

　　The mouse came there and cut the net.

　　老鼠跑了过来咬断了网，

　　Thus it escaped.

　　狮子得救了。

　　Thereafter， the mouse and the lion became friends.

　　于是他们俩成了好朋友，

　　They lived happily in the forest afterwards.

　　从此快乐地生活在森林里。
